Saguaro Market will be hosting our second Handmade Tucson event on May 17th from 5:30-8 PM.   The primary objective of the Handmade Tucson event is to share with local makers the purchasing trends we're seeing and customer feedback we're hearing during our markets. Saguaro Market was born on June 7, 2016 and took its first step four months later when we opened the doors for our first-ever market weekend. We've now completed five official 4-day markets and a couple of bonus 1-2 day markets. We've accumulated a lot of data and are using it now to make some confetti-worthy decisions. Here are two major highlights: First, Saguaro Market will be transitioning later this year to more traditional retail hours. Selling Wholesale - what does it mean?

Makers that sell wholesale typically discount their product for retailers and have minimum order amounts. Etsy Wholesale, for example, requires makers to discount their retail prices by a minimum of 50% and allows the maker to determine his/her own minimum dollar &/or item quantities.
